Coffee and Conversation!

March 20, 2021

 Welcome Back Friends!

How's your week been going?

Grab you a cup of coffee(or whatever you drink) we don't judge, and let's talk about it.

Here are just a few of our recent Amazon purchases, and things we are loving.

I had been seeing this fuzz shaver around on IG and other places, and thought I would give it a try, it's amazing. I used it on a jacket I had, and it looks brand new.

I hate getting pills on my clothes. Yes,  pills is the official name, I googled it.

Order yours here.

One of the best purchases I have made in a very long time, is my bicycle rack. Last year I got a new car, and I knew I wanted to be able to haul our bikes on adventures, and we have definitely done just that. It holds 3 bikes, and it is sturdy and has carried our bikes from the mountains to the beaches and lots of places in between.

With warmer weather coming, we are going to be installing a horseshoe pit in the back yard and an axe and star throwing area. Gary and I did axe throwing on a date once, it was so much fun. Star throwing, well I suck at it.

This Week kids came back to school in different cohort days. Ella is in school 3 days one week and 2 days the next, its baby steps to pre pandemic. It was a big difference having even just a few more kids in the building. This lunch lady was tired by Friday.

I taught a string art workshop at a local brewery, and here is a picture of all the beautiful projects everyone did.

Thank you King Canary for allowing us to enjoy your gorgeous space

We are driving to Florida next week, please keep us in your prayers for a safe trip. I am not the driver in the family, that was Sonny's job. He drove thousands and thousands of miles all over the country(without any accidents), he could handle 9 hours in the car with no problem....I am not that person. 3 hours tops and I am ready for a room or a break.

Oh, Friday night we got to go to our first football game. So EXCITED. Once again, baby steps to some version of normal.

It is still chilly here in NC but, warm weather is coming and the extra hour of sunshine is nice for my winter depression.

Hey, did you know a 16 year old can open a bank account by themselves? Ella did just that this week, she has been babysitting and making money and she opened a debit/savings account to store some of her loot.

Well, until next time...
