Mac Book Pro
December 29, 2010 • New Mac Book Pro
I am certain I was not the on the naughty list this year because Santa brought me a Mac Book Pro. It is very sweet. I am still learning how to use a Mac and Wow what a learning curve. So until I get it all down please be patient as I am like a school kid at the age of 43. You know what is really amazing, my son is 12 years old and his school has had Mac Laptops in the classroom for 3 years now. So he is going to be the one who teaches his old momma how to work this thing. So no more blogging from my Iphone. I feel like such an adult. If you have any tips that I can use, please share.
Vacation is around the corner
November 19, 2010 • Vacation 2010
I am really looking forward to vacation soon. We have rented a cabin in Gatlinburg, TN with a hot tub, fireplace and a game room full of "old School" games, pac man, donkey kong. The weather is really nice there and I am hoping for snow to round out Thanksgiving. When I get back I hope to try and blog more. We will see how that goes.
September 17, 2010 • Packing lunches??
Today is day one of my new blog. Urgh!! My other one is out there somewhere in the computer black hole and is yet to be found. So here goes. This blog is just things that are on my mind and trust me that could entail anything.
Here in my neck of the woods we are really in the swing of things as far as school goes. I have Austin who is 11yrs old and in 6th grade and my princess Ella 5 yrs old in Kindergarten. We have been in schoool several weeks now and are really in a routine.
The issue I am having is lunch. I pack lunches for both, but they say they get bored. How do you handle lunch menus and keep it from becoming the same old same old?? Talk to me!
